Our Story

It all started the umpteenth time we met our friends for Sunday pancakes at a café, only to discover - again - that there was no high chair available. We kindly asked the staff for a large trash bag and slipped one of our coats inside it, because, of course, we knew that otherwise we’d be heading home with mashed potatoes on our shoulders. That was the moment we realised that the only stable seating solution we had was at home - and even that, frankly, wasn’t our child’s favourite.

In our two-year journey of parenting, we had tried elevating a regular chair in nearly every imaginable way - stacked magazines, bags of various thicknesses, having the child kneel, even sitting on an oversized toy. Wanting to find a compact, mobile answer to end this little saga once and for all, we came to a very clear conclusion: such a solution simply didn’t exist. So we began taking our first steps toward a small revolution.

After countless prototypes, we finally arrived at the idea that, first, it had to be inflatable and so lightweight that it would be barely noticeable among the mountain of things parents already carry. Second, to stand securely on any chair, it had to be round and just deep enough to fully embrace a tiny bottom from every side. It needed adjustable straps, it couldn’t slide on the chair’s surface, and most importantly - it had to be fun and colourful, so a child would love it just as much as their everyday toys.

From the moment we finally held the finished product in our hands, every alternative solution - including our classic feeding chairs - became a thing of the past. Now - wherever we go, Bumblie goes too.
